Moorebeer Brewing Co. was founded in 2017 by Ryan Moore and Brad Hodge; 2 guys who love making beer and serving it. Soon we became 3 with the ‘3IC’ Jacob Hurrell joining us in 2017, followed by ‘The Grunt’ Mark Connors to round out our team of 4.
Our philosophy is to be ever-improving. Our beers evolve with customer feedback and also as the growing seasons of grain and hops change. We strive to provide customers with a beer they enjoy. Visit our taproom and we will walk you through the range and help you make a selection you love.
Within our team, there are beers we all love, others that some love and some hate. We take pride in explaining different colours, aromas and flavours and helping customers find something that suits their tastes. There is no beer out there that is perfect for everyone.
Our taproom is our living breathing laboratory. We brew pilot batches, serve it, collect feedback, modify recipes, serve it again, collect more feedback, modify and brew full batches for kegs and cans. Oh and we clean 24/7.
Saturday and Sunday 12-5pm
Fridays are for putting on a show; we have all the brewing equipment on display that has been polished that morning for all to admire. A full food menu is available from 12noon until around 9 pm. Our tap wall will be pouring 10 different brews (some experimental and other old favourites). Our bar will be stocked with soft drinks, wine, cider, spirits and the odd cocktail. There will be a live solo or duo performing from 6 pm. Come by and experience a different kind of industrial entertainment.
Saturday and Sunday are a bit slower; again the full food and bar menu will be available but we target a more relaxed atmosphere. We will have a brewer available to answer any process questions you have and also walk/talk you through the equipment.
Our venue is a highly adaptable space. We can cater for work functions, Christmas parties, birthdays, wedding receptions and engagement parties; you name it and we can make it happen. Contact us below or pop into the brewery and we can tailor a package for whatever you have in mind.
Charbar Catering can tailor a food menu to match your function, just give them a brief and budget and they will take care of the rest.
You will find our resident food truck operator Stef knocking out a full menu of food whenever we are open. He loves mixing the options up. Expect burgers, steaks, wings, loaded fries, salads, and everything in between.
Char Bar Catering also does private catering offsite so if you have an upcoming event and like the idea of good food, good times and good people drop them a line; they would love to customise a menu to suit your needs.
